Entry Requirements- A Russian Visa is required for entry by all foreign citizens.  Please contact your area Russian embassy or consulate for more information.

Climate- Humid continental to subarctic.  Winter is extremely cold, and summer very hot with temperatures ranging from below freezing to the mid seventies. 

Language- Russian is the official language.

Cuisine- Fish is very common, particularly salmon and herring.  Borscht soup is served everywhere  Chicken and pasta is also plentiful and the salads have a large variety from garden to seafood and even mushroom. Sushi is everywhere in St P and the quality is good.  Breakfasts are similar to North American with eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, cereals, cheese, porridge and lots of fish and breads.  You can even get cavia with breakfast.
